Hello all, my grandfather gave me his old jubilee that has been sitting for 12-13 years. I made the mistake of flushing the tank and not doing a full clean out and it bit me (bent pushrods and stuck intake valves).
I was able to get all the valves free moving except cyl#1 will not fully close, still working with that one. Something I noticed which may be right but seems odd to me, the rocker arm shaft oil parts (that oil each rocker) is facing down at the 6 o'clock position.
Is that the correct orientation of the rocker arm shaft? I would have assumed the oil ports would face up for better lubrication of the rocker arms, but then again I am just an electrician
