No Longer Serviced?

Hi guys,

My Ford 5000's parts catalogue describes many parts as "No Longer Serviced". But what does that mean - you can't replace it, you can't repair it, you can't buy a spare part?

I'm confused...

Thanks,
Jaroslav

Funny, the sign by the dealership I used to work at still says New Holland. I realize that Fiat owns them, but it's referred to as NH, or more accurately CNH.

Many parts that are denoted as NLS are available from CNH are available from other sources such as this site. A simple google search has for me revealed many sources. For the most part if it doesn't turn up you don't need it. If it doesn't turn up, then there are still salvage yards. The 5000 had a very long production run. Many were built and many are still working. You will have no problem.

(quoted from post at 08:32:41 10/13/21) Bingo.

CNH still exists as an entity, though it is wholy owned by FCAU.

Just like Cadillac is a wholly owned subsidiary of GM, but you don't refer to your Escalade as a "GM Escalade". You can purchase whatever parts are still available for old Ford tractors from any New Holland or Case (The C in CNH) dealer, but if you order from Case it may take longer to get. But I don't know of any other subsidiary of Fiat besides those two where you can buy parts for old Ford tractors.
