Ford 4610 injector pump

After 4300 hours I see my injector pump is leaking fuel were the throttle shaft goes into the pump, how hard is it to replace the seal or what ever is bad causing the leak? It is a cav pump made in UK, Thanks

the throttle shaft and the shutoff lever both have two O-ring seals on them, the pump head must be removed to access them, at those kinda hours and age, I think I'd be going for a cleaning and complete re-sealing for you pump experts, just had a CAV off my Massey done for just under $500

Thanks guys, Im looking into it, found the kit that I think I need,

Can it be done? Yes. I don't recommend it though as other leaks usually show up soon after the patch job was done on pumps with that many hours. I have a 4000 pump in now for leaks too, it will get completely torn down so all gaskets and seals replaced, then calibration verified on the test bench.

If you attempt to remove the cover you have to look inside of it as you lift it off. There is a spring that can go in different holes depending on which tractor. Be sure to note how it is connected. Also how the shutoff mechanism works.
