So, after repairing lots of leaky gaskets, and 2yrs of ownership, this 3000, is ready for winter, AGAIN.!!
Turned out to be a real nice piece of equipment, for what it is used for.! All the various problems have been brought back to operation, and I really like the way it works for me.
Next summer, I'm going to get the wiring replaced with a new harness. Then I can say, it is All done to my needs, and likes.

Lots of book learning, and help from some of the forum folks, has made me a 'Happy Camper'!!
It's been a learning curve for me!!
Not too shabby, for an 80yr old tractor junky!!!

ood for you Gary!

Nice looking tractor Gary. It looks like it will be a bear to get at the wiring with that F.E.L. on there.

Firstly.....thanks for all the positive replies on the 3000!!!

To Jim L; You said.."It looks like it will be a bear to get at the wiring with that F.E.L. on there."

Not too hard for the wiring access due to being a Diesel, and most of the wiring is in/under the dash cluster, with the majority wiring, going to the Key switch and ending on the lft. side under the hood area.
I did have a real prob. getting to the block heater over the FEL frame, then the access to the block heater was blocked almost directly behind the starter. I had a heck of a time with plugging the heater wire into the block heater, after installing the new block heater!!! Took me almost three days of messin' around with it, before it would work correctly!!!! (FAT FINGERS!!)
Like I said........The learning factor, is slow when yer OLD!!!??
LOL!!!
