I am trying to help a family sell and move some vintage equipment. Right now I can't be certain of the model #, but a guess that it is a late 1950's 800 series tractor with a similar vintage Sherman backhoe and front loader It is currently buried under a bunch of barn stuff so can't get photos or serial #s.

At this time I am just trying to get a guesstimate as to the weight of the unit for making plans for hauling when we get all the junk off it. The tires are holding air so it can roll, but best if we are able to start it to get the hoe lifted and the loader bucket off the ground.

Any guesses? ... Thanks for your reply..

A lot depends on how it's set up. I have a 63 4000, pretty much the same tractor as an 800, but it has front and back wheel weights and fluid in the rear tires. It weights around 6400 lbs with a 3 bottom plow on it and just the loader brackets attached. Just my 2 cents worth Greg NE

Thanks Greg,

This 800 does not have wheel weights, and probably does not have fluid in rears. The permanently attached hoe puts plenty of weight on the rear tires. The hoe does not connect to 3 pt links, it has a permanent sub frame.
