Diff lock on FSM

There is no pedal for my diff lock

The only pedals on the operators right foot are two for the
brakes. Anybody know why that is?

It is a 1961 Ford super major as best as I can tell

Pedal should be to the rear of the right step plate. If it's not there!! Some one may have removed it because it wasn't releasing, and they didn't know how to fix it? The pivot point on the lever, or mount casting broke? If there is no sign that it had one, you might have a frankentractor that the rear end got changed to a Power Major rear end.
 
I don't know whether the differential lock was standard or optional on that model, but if it has one the pedal wouldn't be up near the brake pedals, it would be way to the back of the right floor board and you would use your right heel to activate it.
 
Where are your brakes? If close to rear axle = Super Major. If behind the mudguards = Power/Fordson Major Diesel.

All Supers had disc brakes and dif. lock when they left the factory unless it was an industrial version.

I have an 88 Ford 2910 with the difloc and I am aware of where it should be I wish it was there but perhaps like you say I do have a franken tractor

I will take a hard look at it today again after it stops raining thank you once again for the replies and the schooling
 
It may well be an industrial version if so what would that mean for a diff lock?

It has a backhoe and loader on it the loader is a 712 and I believe the backhoe is a 713 14 ft version when I stuck my nose underneath I saw a lot of yellow paint and this vehicle has a crummy blue paint job I can take pictures later this afternoon

My 1821 industrial had a different lock at one time but somebody cut the shaft off when they put this Case the point and hydraulic PTO setup on the back
