311805 Remote Valve

On my 63 4000 I have this remote valve. Three positions with center off (apparently). I'm guessing the other two positions are IN/OUT flow? I have no idea what it was used for in the past. Just trying to identify and get some ideas of what it would be good for.
TIA.

I'm not familiar with that part number, but sounds like a standard dual acting open center valve. Center is off. Move handle in one direction for flow out one of the ports and return through the other. Move handle in the other direction to reverse the flow. Can be used for anything that has a dual acting cylinder or a reversible hydraulic motor. Some of those valves can be configured for a single acting cylinder as well.

That is the casting number on the body. Sorry about not being clear on that. I have no idea what the part number is for that thing. Single port. The control parallels the three point. Port points forward to right side of tractor. It would be cool if I could adapt a sickle mower to have a remote lift for going around the trees at the pond's edge.

Is there a plug where a second port might be hiding? It could be a double acting valve configured in single acting mde, meaning it powers a single acting cylinder for power up and gravity down.

I will get some pics this weekend. It is located at the other property which is an hour plus away. I did not notice a plug, but then again I wasn't looking directly for one. Looks like a quick connect for the one obvious port.

Pics! So it appears to be a double acting and has a second port though it is blocked off. Not sure what the pin on the left side is (right side in first pic). Maybe something blocking a port for a relief valve?

"pin" on left side is actually a screw. Turn it all the way in, you've got a double acting valve. Back it out, you've got a single acting valve.

Huh. So it should have a knob? One would help anyway. I see a lathe project in my future and I get to use the knurler.

It originally had a small pin through the end of it, like a T handle.
