Aftermarket valve question??

I have this valve on both my 2110 & my 3000. The 3000 works as 2 2-way, the 2110 as 2 1-way. I want to use at least 1 of the 2110 as 2 way, but cannot see anyplace to change a setting, or what might be different the 2 tractors. Any help will be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Lynn

The slotted, hex head screw allows it to
be changed from single to double acting.
There may have been a 2nd hex head by the
right arrow... some had both sides
adjustable, some you could only adjust
one side.
They tend to get rusty behind the head...
then the head snaps off when you try to
turn it.

Again Thanks! I think I was told once that style valve was Tisco. Either way makes little difference if I can make it work!

You are right. That hex head is stuck TIGHT! And the right arrow points to a hex hole, just like the left one. Probably means either both are 1 way or both are 2 way???

I'm guessing there used to be a hex head
there... someone else tried to adjust it,
and snapped it off. Both are snapped off
on my 4600... fortunately, in the double
acting setting.

How do you visually identify a Tisco vs. an OEM valve? I have two spool valves on my 4600, 5000, and 7000. The 4600 and 7000 have been here since new, so I know those are original to the tractors.

They are different in all regards.

The two spool TISCO valve that I bought new from TISCO 20-25 years ago remained on my 55 860 when I sold it about 2 years ago. The TISCO installation and instruction documentation went with the 860.

TISCO valves were made in both single spool and dual spool versions as were the Ford supplied valves.

Dual spool Ford valves in the 50s and 60s had vertically stacked spools while TISCO valves of similar vintage had side-by-side spools.

I do not know what happened after the mid 60s. Perhaps Ford sourced valves from TISCO or the supplier that made the TISCO valves??? If so, perhaps your tractors have Ford supplied valves identical to the earlier TISCO valves. I have never seen vertically stacked dual spool valves on Ford tractors made after 64 and do not know when they were discontinued.

Sorry no photos.

I wondered if they maybe used the same supplier.
All three of mine are side by side. I've seen the stacked ones, but like you, not on '65 or newer models.

The stacked valve fit and worked on my 3000.
However, the levers hit the draft/position control lever.
I have a single valve of this type with a curved lever to clear
the draft lever. It is not the flat style but I don't know if it's OEM.
