I am working on a 3910 thats in decent shape apart from a bad engine (spun rear main). I also have access to a well worn 3600. I was thinking about overhauling the engine from the 3600 to put in the 3910. Are there any reasons this wouldnt work or things I need to be aware of? Also, if I have to have the 175 bored and sleeved is there any reason it couldnt be done to 192 specs? Thanks, Sam

That's a big if. Back in the day 233 engines were made into 256 engines with great regularity. More than once problems developed afterwards.

Boring the cylinders 0.200 is going to make them really thin
201 block is the same bore as the 192, find a 201 block or complete engine, you would like the extra torque a 201 has

It sounds like my best option is to rebuild the 175 at its original
displacement and put it in the 3910. The tractor is in a
dedicated application and the 175 is adequate for that. I did
look a while back and good used parts are hard to come by
locally. Thanks, Sam

The block didnt go to a machine shop to confirm but the
bearing appeared to have been spinning for quite some time
and the damage was fairly extensive. I was very surprised as
it only arrived at the shop for an oil leak from the rear main
seal.
