trying to get in touch with ANDY wICKISER OR ANY ONE THAT CAN HELP ME LOCATE A GOOD USED
CYLINDER FOR MY bh... IT'S A 62 FORD 2000 INDUSTRIAL BUT THE BACKHOE IS ALL FORD MODEL 713
(12FT) SERIES 19-154 . i NEED THE CROWD CYLINDER BUT THE LIFT IS THE SAME THING IN this
model ! Had two that I purchased from a man in PA but low and behold both of the rods were
frozen in the barrels, a lesson hard learned ....soooooo the barrels are kaput and perhaps the rods inside as well!
I could use some good old fashion help with finding a cylinder or maybe two for my baby BH.
Any and all help is always appreciated. Thought about Tony Jacobs and Soundguy as well but no luck
with contact yet. Thx for now

I don't know of any available, The 713 seems to be fading away because they are over 60 years old. As indicated in my previous posts I replaced my crowd with a modern cylinder adapted to work. My 713 has been just sitting around because I use my Ford 455D for TLB tasks. Sorry to hear about your purchase of a couple of bum cylinders, that's sad.

Thanks Andy: I'll have to keep searching for now, maybe something will surface. I wish I could make one out of the two bad ones, time will tell, maybe Tony Jacob's or soundguy may have some news... thx for now

I'd still take them to a hydraulic shop and check out your options. A reputable shop can replace barrels and rods rather easily. Might be your only option for something that is oddball in dimension.

Cylinder Services, Inc. in Rochester, NY can make new rods or barrels if necessary to fix the old one

I have had them fix some steering cylinder's that parts were no longer available and some large Cat cylinders. They do good work.
