Build date on my ford A-64

More info please. We need to know what model it is, 840, Jubilee, 8n, etc. Red and blue tractors have info on the flat of the transmission under the battery and the blue tractors have a decal under the bonnet.

Its a ford a64 wheel loader. The engine and trans is exchanged to volvo engine: d70b transmission: zf6w

A 64 is an articulated 4 wheel drive industrial loader sold by Ford in the 70's. I forget who it was made by, maybe Michigan, not sure. I have no idea when it was built. Sorry.

If you care, the vehicle serial number and build date should be stamped on the left top flange of the rear frame...need to open the
left engine compartment door to find it. Can't remember if the date code is stamped there or not...memory is fading. It's been
referenced below but a 9C in the date code would mean March of 1979 build date. The units were made in France from somewhere
around 1975 to early 80's.
