So I think I have found one. It's even on the exact same tractor as mine. Just wondering what these go for. The parts tractor is salvage, but the Elenco stuff all looks to be there.

Its always cheaper to buy the complete set up than try piecing one together a part at a time! I would think 1500.oo (or less...) would be a fair price on a
complete conversion, but others may disagree. I did see a later gearbox w/ the rear mounted clutch-pack offered by itself for 1200.oo last year- but I'm not sure
what it actually sold for.
Whatever you pay, it will certainly add more than that to the value of any tractor it is bolted to.

Location is a big part of the price. The other is going to be what is missing and what is the condition of the parts that are there. A while back the given value was from $2000. to $6000. depending on what was missing/needed to be rebuilt to totally rebuilt. Of course, that was when the dollar was worth something.
Around here I would offer 15 sheets of plywood, maybe a few 2x4 but no more the 20 sheets. If it was really nice shape maybe a couple of boxes of ammo. I'm being facetious as I can't advise you on a price without seeing it and then that would be in my area. I can say that prices in my area are weak on tractors but Elencos are more like first-gen Camaros and Broncos, a lot of interest. Once there was so much interest in tractors that if you happened to get too close to the road, you would have people stopping wanting to buy it.

If it is as you say "all there" I think that it could well be worth the $2,000 to $$6,000. I have seen them missing plenty of parts, so educate yourself on what you should see when you go to look at it. It appears that one that is working will add $8,000 to the value of a well restored 841.
thanks! Oh, 22 of course, recently that has been all I can find and almost afford. I used to be able to buy a box of 308 or 270. But now all I can do is look at them thru the glass, and that is when they have them. I think they want to pull a credit report on me just to allow me to do that.
