961 Fuel valve and fuel line

Did any of the 961's come from the factory with the lever type fuel shutoff? I'm going to make a new fuel line to clean up this cobbled up one from the P.O. and saw the lever valve on it. Both my other 961's both had the screw type. The fuel line itself appears larger as well. Looks to be about 1/4". The others were more like 3/16". They don't state the size in the parts manual. At least the valve doesn't leak so I didn't have to drain the tank to remove the line!

According to the original drawings it looks like the screw type. I found this on the NH parts site. They have 2 part numbers listed - 311292 & C0NN9285A

(quoted from post at 21:33:59 09/18/21) The C0NN-9285 A was used with 1/4 line. After 1/1/60.
and is it the lever type? I think all I've ever seen on an 01 and prior 000s is the lever type.

My 961 had a lever type. I replaced it and it leaked immediately so it now has a screw type. The line should be 5/16. I used brake line out of both ends and joined with a five inch long piece of rubber fuel line. The OEM line has a rubber section to absorb vibration. Without a rubber section you will get a crack followed by fire.

311292 is screw type, CONN-9285-A is lever type. For 172 gas tractors the screw
type was used prior to 01-Series serial number 126525 (a 1960 serial number).
The Ford Parts List shows the screw type for diesel tractors 58 forward.
