Re: NH Hydraulic Transmission Oil Premium = 134d?

Hey Rusty isn't oil viscosity standard just like temperature or air pressure. It is a standard measurement. This gives different oils for different applications. Googgle viscosity.

Yes to answer your question. D is a THD (transmission/hydraulic/differential fluid) and also covers wet brakes, hydros and all the
new goodies for tractors since '88 at least as my '88 3910 has wet brakes and needs the D. I don't know what C is but A and B
were for basic trans/hydraulic functions, like I have on my '65 3000 diesel. Engine oil for the gas is probably 10W-30. I have the
diesel and use 15w-40 Diesel oil like Shell Rotella T-5. I use T-6, their full synthetic 5W-40 in my 2007 and later tractors but could
use T-5 if I was of a mind.
