It's a week for color

So, is this the super light Ford Grey of the 62-63? Considering colors since mine was painted with a brush and just some untinted house paint at some point and it's roached. 1963 4000. The picture/ad is a bit faded as can be seen from the more powder blue like color on the grille and motor. I'm half tempted to just go Wimbledon White because it is easy to find in a rattle can.

In my opinion the 62-64 thousand series gray is kind of a gray area no pun intended. To me the gray enamel
of the earlier tractors is too dark and the gray gloss of the later tractors is too light. When we painted
our 63 6000 I mixed the two colors 50/50 and was happy with the result. I have an original 2000 all
purpose and an original 2000 row crop that I'm sure neither has been painted and one has darker fenders
and wheels than the other one so I'm not sure there is a 100% correct answer. I plan to stick to the 50/50
mix on any I paint from 62-64 in the future.

This actually looks like the color I found under the paint peeling on the tire side of a rear fender. Is this what your mix gets?
