Fuel tank mounting

Another question, Could someone tell me the length of the spring for the front of the fuel tank on the 860? I have searched and cannot find that part or the specs to acquire one.

My recollection is 3/4 inch, but more important than the length is the rate. I think that it is made of wire of around 3/64.

I thought the brake hold down springs were the same. Have those holing my rad in....

Actually, I don't think there is a spring for the fuel tank. Mine is bolted using a carriage bolt/nut with a rubber bushing between the tank and mount.

There is not supposed to be a rubber bushing there but if you don't have a spring that would certainly be better than nothing.
