Model 621-62 tractor

There was a post from jim.ut in 2008 saying he had picked one up specifically for the 621-62 air force model but couldn't respond to the post. If anyone can get me in touch with him and he still has the manual that would be awesome.

There is a web site called Liberated Manuals. It has a lot of the manuals for things purchased by the Government and Armed Forces. You might find a manual there, but is a look and see, no real way to search it that I can see. Apparently copyright laws don't apply to those manuals as the Government purchased them.

I have the FORD 621-62 Special Industrial Tractor Operator's Manual in pdf if you need it so my email is open and I'll send it. I also have the Service Manual, with the torque convertor info but cannot find it right now. I'll keep looking. The 621-62 was used as an Air Force Tug. The N-NEWS did an article on it a few years back.

Manuals were sent yesterday Roger. Hope it helps. Let me know if ya got it. One has some info on the Torque Convertor. Jim Webb is Jim(UT) but he no longer has any Ford Tractors, very little parts if any, and not many manuals if any. I still can't find the Service Manual someone sent me years ago. The Liberty manual site does not have the 621-21 manuals. The standard FORD 601 manual won't have the torque convertor and stuff but is good for engine, electronics, and other stuff. The 621 sheet metal cab was unique too.

I see yours has the optional "door that opens inward" so that you can get in and out of the tractor when it's parked in a tight spot.

Hey Tim, I'm hoping you still have that .pdf on your hands. If you do, I would be grateful for it. Have my own I want to do some maintenance on.

Thanks!
