x000 hydraulic questions

I'm putting a loader on my 2110 & have 2 questions:
1. Can 1 valve be set as a 1 way valve, preferably w/float?

2. Can the flat round area be drilled & tapped to make this a 2 way cylinder?

Thanks for any help!

That's a TISCO valve.

Either spool can be operated SA or DA but there is no built in float feature.

That cylinder body was probably designed to work as a single or double acting cylinder, but you would probably need to change some of the internals in addition to drilling and tapping the hole for the line to connect in order to make it double acting. A local hydraulic shop should be able to take it apart and assess whether it can truly be made into a double acting cylinder, and what it would take to do so.

I've sold both of mine and no longer have the instructions.

Cannot say from memory.

The cylinder rod OD looks to be about what the ID of the cylinder barrel would be. Many of those single acting cylinders did not have an actual piston, which would be needed to have a double acting cylinder, oil just acted on the end of the rod. So from your picture I will say no, you can't make it double acting, from a practical stand point.

WOW! How could I have missed that??? Thanks for pointing out what should have been obvious to me! Guess I'll use them as 1 way until I can find a couple 2 way ones that will fit.
