My father just purchased an old Ford Forklift. We are trying to place it's age and find parts. Can anyone help me?

ND (NO?) C340718

Model C5021K

Unit 2F02B

Engine 2E10A

*We are looking for*

1 Air filter and Air filter cover

2 Spark plugs & wires

3 Distributor cap & points

4 Condensor

If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

Model C5021K
C = 3000 chassis
50 = Industrial model
2 = Gas engine
1 = No PTO
K = 6x4 manual reversing transmission

Unit 2F02B
2 = 1972
F = May
02 = 2nd day of the month
B = Afternoon shift

Serial # C340718
C = Built in USA
340718 = Sequential serial # consistent
with mid 1972 build date.

You have either a 3500 or 3550 Industrial.
Buy ignition parts for a 3000 ag model.
I'm not sure where your air cleaner
located. Is it in the nose or on the
firewall?

It should be a 3500. According to my references the 3550 actually used K50 instead of C50 as the model designator.

Correction, the 3550 used C55 when it was first released to replace the 3500, and then switched to K50 a little later, but C50 is definitely a 3500.

Thank you!

The air cleaner is in the nose.
