601 Workmaster Identification

I recently inherited a tractor with model number 41202 and serial number 45896. Tractor has 5 speed transmission and is a diesel with power steering. Any help in identifying what tractor I have? I have researched and it looks like model number points more to a 4000 series tractor, but painting and emblems on tractor look like 600 series.
At some point I'm going to give it a good restoration so I would like to paint it correctly. Right now it is all red with gray fenders.

Thanks in advance for the help.

well, the transmission /bell housing case is from the above, after 60+ years who knows what has been swapped or replaced

comparing the engine casting numbers against the below list will narrow down the engine, some pictures would possibly
help those more versed on these guide you more

B9NN6015B is a 172 ci diesel, which matches the numbers on the transmission, so it looks like it has a 4000 engine and transmission, but it has had the sheet metal from a 601 swapped on to it. Can you post a picture of the rear axle from the rear of the tractor? That will show whether it has the heavier duty rear axle that came with the 4000.

Sorry for the late reply, but here is a picture of the rear or the tractor. Let me know what you think. Thank you
