I see Udogs 4000RC OH thats not it. Dont see many 6000s with axle flipped to short wheel base.

Yep, that's Ultra's 4200. Another one right next to it with a wide front, SOS, and converted to LP.
There were two Commanders there with the short wheelbase wide front - one gas, and one diesel. It's not just flipped around , it's actually a different axle. There was also a diesel Commander with a single front wheel, a gas powered one with the long wheelbase wfe, and an older 6000 diesel with the long wheelbase wfe.
That short wheelbase Commander was as close to my Grandpa's as I've found. This one had 3 differences: 7.50x16 front tires (vs. 7.50x18 on my Grandpa's) 3 rear wheel weights per side (vs. none) and the air pre-cleaner didn't have the long tube under it that my Grandpa's did.
