New to us 841. Seemed to have a miss. Just checked compression. Front to back.....0-120-105-120. hopefully #1 is a stuck valve. Can I roll the valve cover out from under the gas tank??

Its tight, but it can be done.

Check your rocker arms when you get it off. One that stays down is obviously a stuck valve, but besides the valve being seized in the guide, Ive had them hang up long enough for the pushrod to jump out of the lifter bore due to the extra clearance and jam against the block in bottom of the lifter galley, holding a valve open too. That usually bends the pushrod a bit, but nothing you cant straighten out enough to re-use if you dont have a spare handy..

You could also have a burnt (exhaust) valve.

Yep, it will be a little nip outta the edge of the valve- surprisingly small!

It happens when the exhaust valve clearance is too tight, or there is a bit of debris impacted on the valve seat and the valve cant seat properly and long enough to transfer the heat it absorbs when the exhaust gasses flow past it on their way out of the combustion chamber. Once there is a bit of a gap, the hot gases warp and melt away the valve sealing surface until the combustion chamber cant build enough compression to fire.

the top picture is a pretty extreme case...
