After my last question about RTV, I visited Auto Zone and there was a wall of gasket sealants/silicones.
I bought a brush on High Tack....I think that is what was being discussed as suitable and the bottle says ok for oil and coolant.
I see that there is also a Super High Tack online. I just want to make sure that the brush on sealant is the way to go.

I also bought a tube of grey RTV....I plan to use that to fill the hole in the top of my bell housing as the Welch Plug is out. I think that is suitable RTV for that purpose. thanks again!
