74' ford 4000 su fluid change

Alright well time has come now everything's sorted out and running pretty good. I want to flush and change rear axle , trans, and engine fluids.
The engine oil I got covered with rotella t4 and Purolator oil filter that's alright to me
What is a good fluid for rear axle and trans? I got people telling me to put several types all different. G134 134d. Hytrans , some UTF from tsc .... I'm so close to putting this to work finally and I want to do it right and not acre anything up lol.
Also hydro filter? (I know it's on side of axle housing)
Anyone got part numbers for napa or some place? Only dealer close is 40 miles one way and it's a Kubota dealer.
Any help is appreciated thanks in advance

To date I have put new cav IP , injectors, lines, fuel filters,starter,2d battery , suspension seat, new lift arms, new front spindles, new shoes all 4 corners, clutch assembly,.... This ol girl better last another 40 some years lol

You only need 2 oils for these tractors:
engine oil, and a hydraulic/transmission
oil (UTF) that meets or exceeds 134D
specs.
The hydraulic filter is inside the rear
end housing. Requires a rear split or
removal of the 3-point top cover to
replace it. Available from a New Holland
dealer, but I don't know if it's
available elsewhere. YT has this one:

4000_Hydraulic-Filter-Steel-
Mesh_C5NNN832B.html
But from the dimensions and the fact that
they say it fits x600 and x700 models,
(those newer ones use an external spin-on
filter) I'm thinking it's the pickup
screen.

Any universal tractor hydraulic oil other than the cheap 303 stuff will work in a 4000
The hydraulic filter is under the lift top but it is on the return side and has a relief spring should it become plugged, the suction screen is more important and replacement screens are not available, simply clean it if its not damaged, removing it requires splitting the trans from the axle
Once you get it going you love a 4000, Ive had one of mine for 30 years

The ford manual calls for m-2c53-a for frod 4000 manual trans and the older m-2c41-a fluid for the ford 4000 SOS trans. SO... the correct answer would be any fluid that meets or exceed these specs. That would include the later m-2c134, '134-a, '134-b, etc etc etc that meet or exceed the m-2c53-a spec...

However you will probably only fine m-2c134-d fluid or newer, so those would work fine in your tractor. Or the equivalent john deere j20 spec of uthf.

But to say the 4000 tractor speced m2c134d is not a correct statement although its probably what you will find out there. iirc the 134d was required for '86 and newer???? but I would have to go look it up to be sure.

actually the 303 is very close to the original spec and worked well.. but remember that the whale oil viscosity additives used at that time are now banned by international treaty. So the original spec fluids cannot legally be sold anymore. Thus ford type f fluids went by the wayside, but not because they did not work.

Thank you all ! Much appreciated responses for the help I got all the fluids changed now and filters. Napa was able to get the screen filter for hydro's thankfully.
Time to put the ol girl to work now lol
