Is this a dual power switch?

Mynew 7710 has a switch on the dash, left side of column, with a rabbit (up) and a turtle (down). It also
appears to have a middle position. I can feel he difference between up and down,
feels like a gear splitter, though I dont feel anything when. Switching from either to the middle position. I can
find no mention of a dash~mounted dual power setup in the manual or service manual but thats what it feels
like to me. The tractor is a US model built in 1983 according to the serial number under the radiator flap on
the hood. Any ideas.? Thank you Martin

Sounds like someone relocated it with a 3-position switch instead of a 2. Or, more likely, the switch has some crud inside of it that makes it feel like there's a middle position.

Unless someone moved the Dual Power switch from the floor (which would only be two position), it sounds like the light switch - one way is fender flashers, middle is off, other way is rear work light. Can't remember which is which. Next to that closer to the steering column would be the FWD switch, but that should have a green window in it, and only two position.

Can you tell the difference when switching from top to bottom or bottom to top, there isn't a neutral position on a dual power so there shouldn't be a center position on the switch

Ill take a picture, it looks very stock to me, just left of the FWD switch. The lights are on a pull out switch below. I tend to think its not three~position and just feels like it. You can absolutely feel it when you toggle it, feels like ascending or descending a gear when you flip it, enough so that if going from rabbit to turtle the tractor lurches as though a steep downshift. There is no evidence of a floor dual power switch or modification to the dash

Sounds like the switch is working
Yes it should be to the far left
The dual power switch was mounted on the dash from 81-12/82, then it was moved to the floor
Yours must be a early 83 model
