New Holland 3930 Serial Number Question

I am trying to figure out when my New Holland 3930 was made by using the serial number on the transmission housing which is the same as the tag under the hood. It is BE05765, but all the info online doesn't include any starting with BE. Can anyone shed any light on this puzzle.

According to the New Holland parts site, the 3930 was made from 1990 through 1999. The Unit number stamped above the serial number is 5C28, which means March 28 of a year ending in a 5, and 1995 is the only year ending in a 5 during the production run of that model, so it left the assemble line on March 28, 1995.

According to tractordata, the 1995 serial numbers started at BD93327, and once they went up past BD99999 they would have rolled over to BE0001 and then started counting up from there. The serial numbers were sequential for all tractors as they were made, regardless of the model, so they made 6673 or so tractors at the beginning of the year before the serial number prefix rolled over from BD to BE, and then they made another 5764 before they made yours.

It's interesting that the BE prefix was only used for a short time and then dropped
This 96 model 3930 only has the numbers with no prefix letters

Yeah, they switched to a B suffix at some point during 1995. Tractordata shows the first serial number for 1996 was 021649B, so they apparently made 21,648 tractors with the B suffix at the end of 1995.
