My 62 4000 row crop needs another lever style fuel tap. This would be the fourth one in five years.
I've been thinking about a better idea and came up with this.
I made an aluminum adapter with 1/4 pipe threads and an o-ring grove to boult to the tank. The valve is for a different tractor. It is brass with an adjustable
packing nut. It has 1/4 pipe thread inlet and 5/16 flared tube outlet. I modified the valve by removing the stand pipe and adding a screen.
Hopefully this valve will last longer than the pot metal china valves.
I will have to bend a new 5/16 fuel line.
