My brother has problems with above Ford tractor. Misses, runs poorly. Has put new points, condenser, new distributor. Runs for a little while. Then stalls out. Any help would be
appreciated.

Sounds like time to look at the fuel system. Or possibly the new condenser is faulty. Or the coil.

Engine cold, perform fuel flow test. Pass? Yes? Leave it alone and move on to electrical, most likely your true root cause problem. Don't guess. Get the ESSENTIAL MANUALS and read. Are you running the OEM 6V/POS GRN system or have you done a 12V switch over job? Regardless of which system you use, if the system is not wired correctly for the system, it will fail. FACT: 99.98% of all non-starting/non-running issues are due to mucked up wiring/electrical setups. When you did your tune-up, did you set the points correctly (.025) and then TIME the engine correctly with your timing light per manuals? Plugs: 14mm Champion H12 or AUTO-LITE 437, gap set .027, will work fine. Firing order = 1,2,4,3 CW. BUT, you must have the wiring system right before you fire up the engine to tune-up. Next: The 6V/POS GRN system uses; GRP 1 6V battery; 20 A, 3-Wire/2-Brush GEN w/belt tensioner device; Voltage Regulator -3 terminal plus a ground; AMMETER; 3-Wire Starter Motor with a Solenoid; Key switch and all wired correctly. Lights were always options so take out of circuit for now. Many are wired wrong and can cause shorts if so. If you are using 12V, you swap out the GEN and the VR and install an ALTERNATOR, 1-wire DELCO 10-SI is best, and must use a belt tension device -the original one with the GEN won't work. You will have to rewire things and take your 6V lamps out and replace with 12V lamps when you get ready. Battery must a good brand with a full charge under load (test at a shop)and cables must be right -6V needs thick cables, 12V uses the smaller gauge like on your truck. Once you verify the wiring is correct for your system, only then can you fire up and tune up the distributor. Get the manuals if you don't already have them. Report back with results.

Before buying a new coil, rule out the ignition switch first. Take a jumper wire and bypass the switch and see how it runs. No change? then I would replace the coil.
