Volume from injectors 3910

Hi all. Just bought an old beat up 3910 I believe. Shows B768284 as the serial number and I havent been able to confirm if it is for sure a 3910. So if anyone can decode that, tbat would be awesome!

Well I bought it and guy said he thinks it needs an injection pump. I tried to turn it over and it cranks pretty slow, so I threw new battery in it and it still cranks slower than I think it should, but it does spin over. I tried shooting some silicon in air intake thinking it should atleast attempt to fire but nothing happened. So I took injector lines off at the injectors and when I turn it over, I get very small amounts of fuel. Is that normal or should it be flying out? Any ideas would be great.

Thanks.

It looks like the model number is there up above the serial number. It starts with C, so it is definitely a 3xxx series tractor. Try using a piece of paper and a pencil and get a rubbing to see what the model number is, or try scraping the paint off that area.

I dont see anything with a C. Here are some better pictures.

I guess what I was seeing as a C in that first picture was just a swirl in the paint. In that second picture where more of the paint is removed I no longer see it.

It definitely looks like a 3910 to me. Those other numbers are a build code for the internals of the transmission and the date code for when the transmission was assembled. 1K12B would mean that the transmission was assembled on October 12 of some year ending in a 1, but the 3910 was only made from 05/83 through 02/90 according to the parts site, so it is possible that the transmission was replaced at some point. Check for date codes on the other major components (engine, hydraulic pump, hydraulic top cover, rear axle center housing and trumpets, etc.) to see when they were assembled.

I found this on the motor can you tell what the motor is from this?

The C at the beginning of the engine serial number means that the engine is from a 3xxx series tractor.

What is the letter to the right of D5NN6015 in that last picture. It looks like it could be a C or a G.

Is the foil tag still under the right side hood panel, also look farther back in the rough area behind the serial number for more numbers
Sweep back axle, engine numbers and larger rear axle all indicate it being a 3910 but the transmission date code is a year early
