ford 6710 4x4 not pulling

I recently purchased a ford 6710 4x4 tractor with dual power at auction. When you drive the tractor it doesn't want to move if you hit the breaks. It also doesn't want to pull up a hill in high gear. My mech tore the tractor apart and found that someone had installed a new clutch and it worked fine. Transmission looked good. No visible problem with transmission or the spines. We wonder if its something with electric wiring or the dual power. Not a problem with the engine because the HP is ok.

Sounds like the dual power is slipping. Have you tried both high and low range (rabbit & turtle) of the dual power? Regardless, if the main
clutch is good, some pressure testing is in order.

Pressure test it at the dual power line
on the main pump. You need 160-180 psi.
Check with dp in high and low, PTO off/on
and fwd engaged/disengaged. Likely a leak
in one of those scenarios. If they're all
low start at the inlet strainer in the
rear of the pump and proceed from there.
Could be a blown ring on the supply tube
into the regulating valve or the valve
itself.
