4610 oil pan removal

Can the 4 front end to block bolts be loosed up and the front end move forward enough to get the front oil pan bolts out?

If not I will not even try it but I hate to take everything else loose.

Thank for any advice.

That is a short cut that comes up periodically. Just take one of the bolts out and get two that are two inches longer. Replace two with the longer ones leaving them out two inches, then you can remove the others and then slide the bolster ahead.

On my 4000, I used a cut-off tool, zipped the 2 front bolts heads off, pulled the pan, and the bolts, which I had already loosened before cutting off, turned out by hand.
I replaced them with shorter bolts.

so instead of moving the entire front end forward... just loosen the bolts, cut them and replace the bolts with replacement shorter ones?

i have a 75 532 - think it is the same process
