Valve ping with new IP Instal

Ok so here's the deal , everything has been replaced with new items regarding fuel system except for tank , lines, injectors, filters and IP.
Upon removal of old IP I marked the gears under the cover plate. Removed the bolts and all regarding IP prior also removed starter to ease of removal and instal of new IP.
Everything went together smoothly all lined up same as it was. Bled fuel system starting at filter from tank to injectors. Good flow from tank to IP. Timing mark initially set at 0 mark. Once I got fuel to two injectors it fired right off but quickly developed a miss then died. Kept doing this for a bit until I found the banjo bolt for injector return from IP to injectors had not been drilled for relief.( Attached pic )
So I swapped out banjo bolt for the one off the old IP whala! Ran smooth on idle no miss nothing (it's a beautiful thing lol) so it sat and idled for about 10 min while I was checking for any leaks or something a miss. All checked out good.
I get on the machine and put it in gear soon as I load it the valves were rattling/pinging not real bad but noticable enough for me to shake my head and say what now !
Tried adjusting timing by rotating IP in either direction. Counter clockwise (looking from IP to front of tractor it becomes very sluggish and rough idle. Clockwise it smooths out and sounds good until I put it under a load... It still runs smooth just the valve noise.....
Should I try to rotate the timing gear one tooth? I'm so damn close to having this tractor ready for work it's driving me nuts.

Take those new injectors out and have them pop tested
Higher pop pressure will cause the engine to have a rattly sound
My 3930 engine is a lot mouser than the older 4000s

Most Ford CAV DPA pumps have a pressurizing valve in the side cover return line, if that valve is bad and housing pressure is not correct that will upset the speed
advance curve. The small bleed bolt is to let air out of the top cover, if that's too large the advance will begin too early making a noisy engine too when housing
pressure is lower than it should be. Also, if the filter base lines are reversed that go to the injection pump that will cause running/stalling trouble. Have seen that
happen on Perkins before similar to the Ford system.
