Ford 8000 hydraulic pump

Is there away to adjust the pressures on the hydraulic/pto pump. PTO isnt working and its a brand new pump, hydraulics work fine. Pto clutch pack is rebuilt too.

While it is theoretically possible to adjust the relief valve on that little PTO pump, at #21 in the link below, odds are very high that's not the issue. If your PTO is not working at all, you either have a massive leak in your dual power (if equipped), or else something went wrong big time in your PTO clutch installation.

Itll turn on with nothing hooked up. But as soon as I hook anything up it wont turn it full speed. Even a 4 basket Tedder is too much. I was only able to get it to run the manure spreader once after I had put it all back together. Ill just have to tear it all apart and see what I can find. It lifted and folded our 25ft mulcher all spring so its definitely not a stripped out hub on the flywheel. And it does not have dual power

Did you check the clearance in the clutch pack once assembled? While nothing is published, it is roughly .010 per disc (both friction and steel plate). If you left out one of the discs, it might close up enough to orbit but not drive anything.

I had some metal chips jam into the little relief valve on the pro circuit that prevented it from moving on stayed open all the time making pressure low
Have to pull pump to remove the valve to clean it

Where is the valve located? Is it on the pump or the valve block that the pump bolts to?
