3930 PTO seal

Hello,
I posted this on todays tractors on this forum, but i didnt get a response.
I have a 1998 New Holland 3930 that the PTO seal leaks and needs replacement. How is this best done?
I have replaced that seal on 8ns but never something this new, do you have to pull the whole PTO shaft out to change like on an 8n or is this one different, dont want to take something apart that doesnt need to come apart and cause more problems.
Any help or tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

I replaced the pto seal on my 3930 and 4600 recently. The pto
shaft can stay in place and just remove the seal housing on the
4600. On the 3930, the shaft comes out with the housing. The
bearing is pressed into the housing on the 3930, so the housing
and shaft come out together on the 3930. The bearing is
pressed into the rear end on the 4600, so the seal housing can
be removed while the pto shaft stays in place on the 4600.

My thrust washer didnt drop down while removing shaft, but if it
does, use broom stick and grease to get it to stay in place when
reinserting shaft.

Replaced the pto seal on a neighbors 97 3930, shaft came out with the bearing retainer, after replacing the seal I slide the shft back in until it hit the thrust washer, while applying pressure against the shaft I rotated it walking the thrust wash back up into position.
Once past the thrust washer you'll have to spline up the shaft with the clutches.
Do not at any time hammer on the end of the shaft to make it go in
