1971 Ford 3000 Gas Engine and front PTO rotation

Rotation of engine should be Clockwise as viewed from front of engine facing toward rear, correct? So, front PTO should also be "Clockwise" as viewed in same manner?

Mr. Wallace, I really do not know. It looked to me like a PTO drive, but, there is a 13 spline female drive in the front of the tractor. When I bought the tractor, very used, there was a hydraulic Eaton pump attached for the front bucket, However, I do not know if any of this was original. So it may be as you suggested, for the hydraulic. Reason I am searching is that the Eaton pump was not operating. In order to replace it I need to know which direction that section of the tractor is suppose to rotate.
Thank you for the response. It is greatly appreciated.

ou will likely find that what you see is simply a direct coupler to front of crank shaft/pulley. 1:1 engine speed.

If the splines in adapter on crank pulley are not stripped just need coupler to fit ends. Uses 7/8-13. Pump could be 3/4 strait with key. Pump will need to be CCW rotation. Rotation is determined by looking
a shaft end of pump.

Mr. Wallace, again, thank you. That sounds great. I did check and the splines are in mint condition. Received a pump, 7/8" 13 tooth spline shaft. Holding the pump in hands, viewing from back of pump housing looking toward the splined shaft end, has an arrow on top indicating left, ccw.
