Broken grill mounting stud on a Ford NAA

The left lower grill mounting stud on our Ford NAA is broken. Looking through our parts manuals, this does not appear to be a replaceable item. Has anyone ran into this before ?
We would appreciate hearing how any of you took care of this situation.
We are thinking of making a new stud that could be silver soldered or welded in place or perhaps making it with a threaded tail that could be screwed into the remaining part of broken stud. Any thoughts ?
Thank you for any help you can give us.
Best Wishes !

It's been about 20 years ago that I had the same problem,if I remember right I drilled the old one out and tack welded a new one in from the back side?

Are you talking about the bolts at the top? The ones MarkB shows?
Or the parts at the bottom where the grill pivots? You said "lower".
If it's that pivot "pin", I'd weld or braze on a dowel pin with a washer
and cotter key. Or simply drill it out and use a bolt and lock nut.
It's hidden and the upper bolts will hold it still.
