Napa Coil Number

Will the IC14SB 12 Volt coil from Napa work well on a Ford 641 12 volt with no external resistor? Or is there another number for their coils I should use?

I use Napa coil IC64 for my 12V conversions with no external resistor.

I've used several NAPA IC14SB coils that are wound for direct 12 volts, no resistor needed. I have had no problems with them. Should work for yours

I've used the IC14SB many times. But what I've found locally is
that if I take that part number into another good parts store, they'll
find me a store brand that also requires no resistor and costs less.
I've had no troubles with either of them.
