It looks like the right hand engine oil cooler line was source of engine oil leak on front of engine. I got it today, and looks original. It has crimped on fittings a lot like a power steering line. The tubes are loose where the come out of the fittings. The parts book shows two steel lines on each end with hose with clamps in the middle and not a one piece assembly.

I am assuming I can cut the lines off where they go into the fittings and clamp a piece of low pressure hydraulic hose in the middle. Anyone had experience with this?

Yes you can use low pressure hydraulic suction line or just get some rubber fuel line rated for fuel injection, the oil cooler system is free flow, very little pressure on the lines.
Fuel injection rated rubber fuel line is what I used on neighbors 5030 3 years ago, no leaks yet.
