Remote valve spool end

My neighbor has a 5000 with a dual spool remote. One of the spool ends is broken off at the hole in the flat machined spot where the pin from the handle attaches it to the spool.
I have looked at all of the diagrams I can find, but I do not see a separate part number for the spool end. It just looks like it is part of the valve housing.
I've never had a valve apart, but it sure seems like it would be a separate part rather than just included in the housing.
Can anyone help with a part number or sourcing the spool end without having to buy a junk valve?

Thanks

Valve sections are not a replaceable item, they are machined together and swapping parts is not recommended and sometimes doesn't work.
Get the broken ball end out and replace it with a new one that is still available

As Destroked said, spools are not available separately. And, as valuable as those remote valve assemblies are, I doubt you'll
find a wrecking yard that would sell you just a spool, even if you could get it to fit well.

I would remove the broken spool and weld the end back on, being careful to protect the rest of the spool from weld splatter.

There were several (many?) manufacturers of
those Ford remote valves. So to begin with
you would need to ID the one you have in
order to start looking for parts.
I would do as Bern suggests and weld a new
end on it. But I wouldn't kludge the thing
together. I would bring it to a Good welder
who has a heliarc machine. Heliarc can do
some very fine/precise work. He could
likely weld the end back on without having
to disassemble the valve.
A good two spool valve for a Ford will set
you back most of $500 for a USED one so
spending a bit to fix this one would be
worth it.

For a while any Ford or Tisco dual remote valve that I found for $500 or less I bought till I had one on 4000, 5000, 5600, 6600 and a spare, but I sold the spare to Royse.

Thank you to everyone for the replies.
This valve came with the spool broken when the tractor was purchased, so the end is long gone.
It will probably be worth taking to a good shop to see if they could cut the remaining end off and fab a new one to weld on.
I'm not sure what that would cost, but would be worth exploring.

Thank you again

Id remove the spool, wrap it with a wet towel and weld up the broken part, grind it back to proper shape and then drill a new hole
Cutting the end off then making and welding a new end on takes a lot more work with the possibility of not getting it on 100% correct for it to work properly

If you remove the spool the orings will go back in easier if you wrap a thin spiral of black tape on it. Stretching it will make it even thinner. Not too thin or it might break when you pull it out. You have to wrap it in the right direction to get it out after you slide the spool back in. I think you start at the oring and spiral out. I think you also work from both ends of the valve body to do both sides of the spool, it's been a while. A good welder might even be able to use heat block on it and weld it. They might want to use heat block anyway to protect the rest of the spool from splatter.
