I'm not seeing the pipe you describe on YT. Can you provide a link to it? I only see this pipe, which is supposed to be an NCA5255B replacement.
I recently converted my row-crop 4000 to low exhaust, something I should have done years earlier. I used aftermarket parts made by Stanley Muffler, and I was not impressed by their quality. If I were to do it again I would use OEM parts if available. I assume the exhaust parts sold by YT are the same as Stanley, although I don't know that for a fact.
I would think installing a low exhaust on your standard tractor would be much simpler than on my row crop, so maybe it wouldn't be too difficult to install a one-piece pipe. I sure wouldn't recommend it, though. I had to shorten my tailpipe to keep it out of the way of the hitch and drawbar.
