I have a few questions about converting the exhaust from vertical to horizontal on my 1955 Ford 860. YT sells a one-piece muffler pipe/tailpipe combo that's 78" long. The original is two pieces, NCA5255B Muffler down-pipe and NCA5263B tailpipe.
I'm concerned about any issues fitting the one-piece system up to the tractor, such as not being able to twist it a certain way in order to get it up between the radiator and the front of the engine. If anyone has ever installed this one-piece system, I would like to hear from you about any problems or tricks involved.
I do have a leaking oil pan that I need to address one of these days. Does the horizontal system make the bolts on the oil pan difficult to get to, or the oil pan impossible to get off?
Thanks in advance for the help!
