size of pipe plug on the hydraulic pump of a ford 3000

Tractor is a ford 3000 with a 3 cylinder diesel. Would like to bleed the hydraulic system. Tractor is a 100 miles from where I live. Would like to bleed the hydraulic system. Want to use a hose barb with a piece of clear plastic hose to start tractor run it and remove air from the system. Will run the clear plastic hose from the external hydraulic pump which is run by a gear on the camshaft to the hydraulic pump.
Would like to remove the pipe plug on the pump and install a pipe fitting with a hose barb.

Have a pump on the shelf here.
Plug is 3/8 NPT.
Bring your allen wrenches. This one is 5/16.
Pretty sure it's original.

Hello Ultradog. Just checking. Are the hydraulics on these tractors with Schibaura engines using SAE threads? Thanks.
