There used to be an original paint 2N type tug parked in front of the Museum at Alameda, but when I was there a couple months ago it was gone

I wonder why the tugs have front fenders when the operator is protected inside a cab. Then again, my exposed front wheels on my tractors have never thrown anything at me.
