Who is rebuilding or producing 4 cyl row crop power steering

At one time, Long Lane Tractor offered row crop cylinder rebuilds. Here's their website, which describes their current business as limited to parts.

You can give them a call at 717-367-8610 and see what they say.

Should you decide to rebuild yourself. My friend is rebuilding his. He is having problem getting parts that are NLA. Should you go that route i can get info from him if needed. His
is a 960 with the later style 2 piece pedestal

Thanks Kirk, I had the rod on a 960 replaced maybe 15 years ago. The cutting and welding was fairly expensive. On another one I took the valve apart and took care of some problems, but I din't have a tube problem like grandpa Love did. There is a fellow who posts infrequently who was getting set up to rebuild them six months ago and posted again about six weeks ago.

I had a cylinder rebuilt - I appears to be done very well, but I have not installed it yet - be aware that you lose the stock appearance, if that is important - you also gain the capability to disassemble/rebuild

if you search eBay for 'Ford Row Crop Tractor 901 power steering cylinder rebuilt' you'll find a remanufactured unit - I don't know anything about these other than what's in the listing

I'll be needing your services in the near future. I just fixed my row crop steering box and have some other work to do before I get to my cylinder.

mschoff, Welcome to YT. You may want to go to the top of the Ford forum and hit the "new topic" button and start a new shout out to Bob. Many guys here are on classic view where the old threads don't bump up so they won't see a post added to an old thread.
