Ford 860 headlight wiring question.

I ran wires from the headlights back to the fused, 2-pull light switch shown in the picture. A prior owner wired in a work light. I believe the fuse holder in the picture is for that work light; it comes on with switch pulled out all the way.
But my question is: Since the switch is fused, do I need another fuse for the headlights? And if so, exactly how do I wire in an inline fuse. Is it as simple as tying the two 14 gauge headlight wires (L & R in the photo) together along with one end of the inline fuse, and the other end of the inline fuse to the terminal? This is a typical 12V, neg.-ground system.

My other question is what size fuse should I put in the holder? These are two 50-watt halogen bulbs. Thinking 10 Amp.

I know this is simple but I just want to make sure. I don't want to burn anything up. Thanks in advance for the help.

Fuse protects the wire. IF it is all 14G, you are good for 15A. Only 1 fuse is needed on the main line to the switch.

What Ernie said. But I might add that a fuse's job is to protect the wire carrying the current to the load and then to the ground source. All of the wire in the path. So if the previous owner didn't have the correct gauge for the job and spliced in a smaller gauge because that is all he had, well the fuse must be sized for that smaller gauge. The fuse is a protector of the wire, not a switch to send more power to the load.
