Remote and Diverter valves

Are these two valves just simply a swap out to each other? What's the advantage other than using the 3 point and remote at the same time vs. using one at a time with the diverter?

They are a direct swap. The diverter valve is set up for a single acting cylinder and controlled with the touch control lever. The remote valve is for a double acting cylinder and has a separate handle to control it.

The remote valve in the lower photo can be used with either single or double acting cylinders.

It also has has detent with auto kick off upon end of stroke.

The remote valve is much more useful. The diverter valve is an inexpensive way to achieve basic power beyond.

As others have said direct swap. Best to use the bolts that comes with that valve cause some bolts may be longer or shorter. I use a devert valve on my 950 with one arm loader with trip bucket. When in use
deverts power and locks out 3pt. I guess it would depend on what you want to run with it. I Have other tractors with other single and double valves to run dozer blades for down pressure.
