hello everybody i am new to the forum.
I recentely purchased a ford 335 i believe it is a 1976. i have gone through the tractor and everything seems to work great. I have done some research already and noticed that this does not seem to be a very popular tractor as in there is not much info on the forums and it also seems like it is harder to find parts. would this tractor be very similar to a ford 3000 as far as parts interchanging? I am looking to replace all of the filters, but so far i was only able to track down an engine oil filter, a fuel filter, and an outer air filter, so i am looking for an inner air filter and a hydraulic filter ( for the front loader ). I live in Canada, ontario, any suggestions on the best place to buy parts in Canada?

Similar to a 3000, but newer.... the
industrial variant of a 3600. Most (not
all) parts for a 3600 should fit. Front
axle is different, I think they had
different transmission options.

You shouldn't need to replace the inner filter. They are there only in case of a problem with the main filter. If the housing is clean around it I would not touch it. If the inside of the housing where it mounts is not clean be sure to get it immaculately clean before removing the filter or you could end up doing more harm than good.

Dad and I bought 2 in 1978. Sold mine with a loader years ago. Still use dad's. I have used it for everything in the past, but now it's dedicated to a sickle mower. 6X4 trans, cast oil pan and front axle with a Gannon 3 spool.

The 335 replaced the 3400. Both the 3400 and 335 are "Utility" tractors, not Industrial tractors, at least according to the parts site. The 335 was only made for a couple of years before being replaced by the 340, so it wasn't that it was unpopular, just that it wasn't made for as many years as most other models so there aren't as many of them out there.

Since the 335 was considered part of the 3600 series of tractors you should be looking for air and oil filters for the 3600 series tractors, although I don't think that much changed from the 3000 series to the 3600 series. For the hydraulic filter for the loader that would depend on which exact loader it has. There should be a metal tag on the loader frame upright with a number like I9-xxx. If you search the parts site for that number, but replace the I with a 1 you will find which series of loader it is and then you can look up the part number for the filter. There should also be a hydraulic filter on the base of the 3 point hydraulics pump located on the left side of the engine near the flywheel. That one should be the same as for the 3600.
