8730 Electronic Instrument Panel Flashing

I have removed the instrument panel and measured the voltage between terminals A1 and A6, which checks good indicating a good ground. I cleaned the terminals, unit still flashes. Slight pressure on the LCD screen corrects the problem, but will return when removing pressure. The Central Digital Display Module needs replaced. The part E5NN10N911AD is obsolete and no longer available from New Holland, NO aftermarket. Can anyone out there help? Is there a place I can send to have repaired? A used part or new/old stock?

Try Big 3 502-252-8331, they are th Ford/NH dealer I use. I had an electrical fire on a 7610 with the digital instrument cluster and they sent my dash off somewhere to have it repaired. It was expensive but they did fix it.

Send me an email at: jbirnsch "at" sbcglobal "dot" com

I may be able to help if you send me pictures of the assembly.

[My TW35 was doing this.. easy fix. Take the panel out open the back of the EIC. They used a plastic robin cable as a ground between two circuit boards. It's a bad ground connection inside. Clean it up and reassemble.
