Lights show them please!

Hello all
I was reticently cleaning up after a snow storm, it was dark by the time I finished. Really need to put some lights on my old girl! The loader is pretty close to the sheet metal, so that's not a great spot. She's not a show piece, but i'd like something that looks somewhat period correct. Probably will go LED. She get used in the woods so can't be hanging out, they'll torn off. Really should build a roll bar, that would be a good place, haven't got to that!
Any ideas will be much appreciated, probably for others too!

Back in the day they mounted them on the upper cross tube where they did a pretty good job of blocking your vision.

Kinda blurry but you can barely make them out.

At first, headlights in the grill guard seems like a good idea. But the bucket would block them most of the time unless driving with the bucket too high to be safe.

Showcrop, where did you manage to find a vintage picture of the Elenco tractor you have mentioned that you drove in your youth? And there are the truck tires you like on an Elenco equipped tractor!

Ahhh, you remember! The widow of the farmer I worked for gave it to me back fifteen years ago. He is on the 8N, one of his sons is on the 960, and a hired hand on the 841. Headed out to spread manure. The pic was most likely taken by one of the two older daughters. Tony Jacobs says that the truck tires were used if a loader was installed.

Not period style but what about a small led light bar on the loader frame crossbar. The light bars are not very tall so you should be able to see over it.

Looks like you have a 19-97 Ford Industrial Loader. I am finishing up installing a 19-105 on my Jubilee. I am going to mount an LED lightbar on the cross brace behind the bucket. These are cheap enough, if you tear it off, not a big deal.

Thanks everyone for the reply. That pic with the 4x4, love to score an Elenco conversion, and most of the guys here, too! That would make my 821 about as versatile as it could be.

I'm going to go with 2 up in the grill guard, for starters. Think of building a light bar. Probably a good idea to have some kind on roll protecting anyway.

I like your idea Hdonly, option and or addition.

[This is what I have so far, not wired in yet. Just been to damn cold here! Think of buying 4, small 3" or 4", mount 2 lower in the front and 2 out back. Gave up on the light bar/ roll bar, just don't have the space. The hydraulic tank and the backhoe, its busy behind the seat.

I know that I would go with that light bar that Hdonly suggested. It would not block vision a bit, and it would give a lot of light. Those two round ones that you have block the only line of sight that you have to see the ground directly in front of you. You could install a back-up camera in front and put the screen under the loader control levers.
