1630 New Holland fuel

I just installed a rebuilt engine in this 1630 New Holland 4x4 tractor and I'm not getting fuel to the injectors. After removing the pump to rebuild the engine,
does the injection pump need to be bled or should it need to be primed? Why am I not getting fuel to the injectors? thanks, gregjo1948

The fuel gravities to the injector pump very well. I bought the tractor not running. I was told it had a very bad "banging" in the engine and I didn't want to chance spinning a bearing. I just assumed that the injector pump was in working condition. I'm getting no fuel out of it which, I would think it would at least give me some spitting.
